Perfect!
this Atlas BC24 review by Up, Up, Up
The best equipment is the kind you never notice. These fit the bill to a tee. I bought them for hiking up the local ski hill (they still allow that) and never gave them a second thought. Can't wait to use them in the backcountry.
These are Killer Snowshoes!!
this Atlas BC24 review by SunnyCA
The Atlas BC 24 snowshoes rock. They are light, packable, durable, and compared to MSRs, they are quite affordable. I was skeptical if they would provide enough floatation—I’m about 170 lbs and I’m always backpacking, so that adds some weight—but they are totally fine. As far as traction, they would grip a wall. The climbing bar is awesome. You won’t believe how much strain on your calves is eliminated. I use them for snowboarding and when I get to the top, I strap them to the outside of my pack and they nest together perfectly. These are killer snowshoes!!
Light, Strong & Simple
this Atlas BC24 review by Pow-Pow
I wanted a snowshoe that was light, stong, and simple. I’m not a big fan of some of the bindings I’ve seen on other snowhoes out there and when I saw the simple ratchet style on the Atlas BC 24, I was intrigued. I also liked the fact that the BC 24 comes with a heel lift, which I’ve come to learn is a great feature when climbing. I keep these in my car and they take up minimal space which is another nice feature. When I use them they perform wonderfully. Plenty of traction on the hills, plenty of floatation in the powder. I think these are all the snowshoes anyone would ever need for high mountain climbing. |
