The Lightest and Easiest to Run In
this Atlas Race snowshoes review by Anthony G.
I ran on the snowshoes 6 times this winter and they were excellent. They were very light and the bindings held my running shoes perfectly. They work the best on packed snow trails. When the snow gets real deep you would want to consider a bigger snowshoe. I would recommend them to anybody running in snowshoes. The lightest and easiest to run in.
 Very Lightweight and Stable
this Atlas Race snowshoes review by Wasatch runner
I received this product 1 week before my very first snowshoe race. I was only able to do 1 run around 3 miles before the race. They performed exceptionally well, and I placed 1st overall male in the race. Then a few weeks later I raced a 25k , and also placed very well in them. The snowshoes stayed snug on my running shoes, and did not need any adjusting during the race.
 Super
this Atlas Race snowshoes review by MudFlapper
What a gas to be able to run on some of the same High Sierra trails in the Winter that I run on in the Summer. I should should say run "over" instead of "on" since there are four or five feet of snow seperating me from the actual trail. Using my Gortex running shoes and short gaiters, the weight penalty with these racers is minimal. I often zone-out to the fact that I have snowshoes on. The only drawback, probably inherent to all snowshoes, is that they flick snow onto my butt and the back of my legs. Someone suggested I hang a mudflap on my butt -the one with the prostate chrome girl on it. Now there's a million dollar idea. It's all yours.
Atlas Race Snowshoes are the Answer
this Atlas Race review by fastguy35
I am an avid runner and I’ve been snowshoe running for years. I used to have a pair of Tubbs Catalysts but the bindings broke. Since they no longer make them, I was forced to buy a new pair. The Race snowshoes were the answer. The bindings provide a sure grip on your foot and they are also extemely light.
Can Attest to Their High Quality
this Atlas Race review by Jay K.
I have had the Atlas Race snowhoes for a couple seasons and I can attest to their high quality. I run three times a week, and have been doing so for three seasons, and they have held up very well. I snowshoe race a few times during the winter and as far as performance goes, they earn equally high marks. The bindings fit securely to your shoes and stay tight. They have great grip and they are nice and light. I would recommend them to any snowshoe runner who is racing or training or both. |
