We suggest the current Atlas 12 snowshoe or Atlas BC24 Snowshoes as great alternatives.
Easton 7075-T7 aluminum frame with Duratek decking material that's light and extremely abrasion resistant.
Atlas 12 Snowshoe's ratchet buckle binding accommodates large snowboarding and mountaineering boots. Ratchet buckles provide quick easy and off. Separately molded left and right bindings provide superior fit.
Atlas patented Spring-Loaded binding with lateral flex allows secure, stable footing on any terrain.
Spring-Loaded binding eliminates heel twist and limits step roation for enhanced maneuverability.
Traverse Trac™ rails, All-Trac™ crampons, and patented heel cleats provide the best traction system available on a snowshoe.
The Atlas 12 Series is the snowshoe of choice for the U.S. Military's Special Operations Forces.

The Atlas 12 Series
Snowshoe comes in four sizes - 1222, 1225, 1230, 1236 (also called Frontier: see
image below). Using the sizing chart below, find your size based on your fully
loaded weight - meaning your fully clothed body weight plus the gear weight of
typical items you would carry in a backpack while snowshoeing for example. |
