The Black Diamond GTX FrontPoint gaiters are ideal for any off-trail snowshoeing, nordic, backcountry and telemark skiing, ski-mountaineering etc. Excellent protection from rocks & prickers on hiking boots in the summer too. Constructed of waterproof two-layer GoreTex and heavy duty Ballistic nylon with hook-and-loop closure system, providing for optimal durability against snowshoe crampons, backcountry & telemark skis metal edges and any unfriendly ice, rocks & backwoods brush. With these snowshoe gaitors acting as a super shield over your calves you will stay even warmer, prevent water, snow and ice from entering your boots & eliminate possible scratches and cuts to snow pants, socks and skin!
