When close-range lighting is all that's needed however, switch modes on the fly and instead use the 2 SinglePower LEDs (even includes red night vision for close proximity and maximum battery power efficiency).
A single switch on top lets you choose from multiple lighting level modes - distance lighting, close proximity, strobe, red light and fully adjustable dimming mode for customizing the exact light output needed. The three-level power meter shows remaining battery life for 3 seconds after switching on headlamp.
