With just the turn of a screwdriver, individual components can be replaced as they wear or are upgraded. Dion Snowshoes are a smart and innovative custom alternative to similarly priced, non-interchangeable production models.

The lightest snowshoe racing cleats available, the Dion Standard Cleats are made of lightweight aluminum alloy with an impregnated Teflon coating to prevent ice and snow build up that can add unwanted weight, these durable snowshoe racing cleats are designed to provide a secure grip on ice, groomed and hard packed surfaces. The best option for snowshoe racing and anyone demanding the most technically advanced and lightweight equipment available for snowshoe running and racing. Part of Dion Snowshoes unique interchangeable system, the Dion Standard Cleats are easily removed for switching out / replacing with the longer "fang" Dion Snowshoes Deep Cleats for high-performance in deeper snow and steeper terrain.

Teflon coating is impregnated onto the surface so it will never scratch off.

ATTENTION: Lightweight users (under 150 lbs) often times prefer the Dion Deep Cleat even on groomed trails as it provides better traction in many cases over the Dion Standard Cleat for lightweight runners.

ORDERING NOTES
Dion Snowshoes are an interchangeable system of components, allowing for a customized setup for each user's needs, snow conditions, terrain etc. Along with the Dion Bindings, you will also need to add the Dion 121 Frame or Dion 132 Frame as well as your choice of Dion Bindings. For optimal results outfit yourself with both styles of Bindings and Cleats for the best performance in every snow condition and terrain type.

Dion Snowshoes 121 Frame Component:

The foundation of the Dion Snowshoes system. Made of hand crafted aircraft grade aluminum and meticulously designed to be as light and minimilist as possible, the 121 Frame is the smallest and narrowest frame allowed by the USSSA.
Dion Snowshoes 132 Frame Component:
» Dion 132 Frame
Exactly the same as the Dion model 121 Frame but slightly larger surface area and frame tubing for added strength and flotation in more variable terrain and snow surfaces etc.
