Handcrafted in Vermont USA, Dion Snowshoes are a smart and innovative custom alternative to similarly priced, non-interchangeable production models. Separately select the ideal snowshoe frame, bindings and cleats for superior, custom performance snowhoes to meet your specific needs.

The Dion 133 / 168 frame models are hand crafted, lightweight and extremely durable go-anywhere/all-terrain snowshoe frames made right here in Vermont (see chart below to determine which frame model is correct for your weight). As with all Dion Snowshoes, the 133 / 168 frames are modular, giving you the freedom to select the perfect combination of bindings and cleats to best suit your needs. In a matter of seconds the components can be interchanged with a few quick turns of a screwdriver. Once assembled, you’ll be heading out with a truly custom pair of snowshoes optimized for the snow conditions and terrain type of the day’s excursion.

The unisex Dion 168 / 133 frame models are specifically shaped to promote a natural stride for men and women alike, with tapered tails that won’t come in contact as you maneuver through any snow conditions and varying terrain (see chart below to determine which frame model is correct for your weight). An integrated, rugged heel cleat penetrates deep into the snow to deliver excellent traction uphill and down. The Dion 133 / 168 frames are fitted with tough, abrasion resistant decking that is soft and flexible for quiet steps so you won’t drown out the sounds of nature.

The Dion 168 / 133 frame are available in two options, basic and premium, to suit your particular needs and budget. The 133B / 168B basic models feature a standard, polished 6063 aluminum frame with a standard heel cleat. The 133 / 168 premium models feature a powder coated, aircraft grade aluminum frame which is lighter and more durable. Additionally the frame and heel cleat are Teflon coated to reduce snow and ice buildup which can weigh snowshoes down and decrease traction. Both options are sleeve joined for maximum strength.

ORDERING NOTES
Dion Snowshoes are an interchangeable system of components, allowing for a customized setup for each user's needs, snow conditions, terrain etc. Along with the Dion Frame you select, you will also need to add your choice of Dion Bindings and Dion Cleats (cramp-ons). For optimal results outfit yourself with all styles of Bindings and Cleats for the best performance in every snow condition and terrain type.

The Dion 133 and 168 are the premium frame models, handcrafted from high quality aircraft grade aluminum alloys and feature powdercoating for a good looking finish and also a teflon coating on frame and heel cleat to prevent ice and snow buildup. The Dion 133B and 168B are the basic frame models and use high-grade polished 6063 aluminum alloys and do not have the powdercoat and teflon finished coatings.
