We mostly cart our two grandchildren around (gross wt. w/sled approx.60 lbs.)on snowshoe trails at local x-c center. Pulled easily. Waist belt very comfortable. Adjusted loosely so allowed to glance backwards w/o affecting tracking. Glides smoothly; didn't drift side-to-side. Stable at fairly fast speeds. We also use for backcountry touring as well.

Ok for Flats, Terrible for Trails and Backcountry

Overall the Kindershuttle is a fine transport for large groomers. It stays warm, and plenty of room. Easy to tow. so - the cons: terrible on non-groomed backcountry trails. Tips over all the time - NO STABILITY. A real pain! Also, material is ok - until it gets to -20F. Plastic is brittle, and easy to put holes in. A bit of duct tape worked fine for the repair. All in all - get this if you want a nice pulk for groomers. Dont bother trying to take this in the backcountry. We are going to try to add some stabilization to it - but all we have tried so far has failed. Also - dont buy this if you live in Interior Alaska - the plastic window just isnt a match for the bitter cold.
