Affordable Fun for Beginners!
this TSL Walk in the Park snowshoes review by Buktrakker
I wasn't sure what to expect when I first strapped them to my hiking boots, since I had never tried showshoeing before. I had a blast! These snowshoes are easy for a novice to get around in and feel pretty light on your feet. I found that the bindings have a multitude of adjustments to fit any size/style of boot. I would encourage anyone on a budget to buy a pair of these for everyone in the family!
Perfect Snowshoes for Moderate Terrain
this TSL Walk in the Park review by DayTripper
For recreational use, the Walk in the Park snowshoes are great. I have used mine since our first snow in November and I use them regularly. They have held up very well. They are a good value and offer enough support and traction for moderate terrain. The padded strap across the top of the foot is comfortable and the ratchet is a great feature. I’m not looking to hike mountains. I just like to get out and get some exercise and these are the perfect snowshoes for that purpose.
Not a lot of Binding Support
this TSL Walk in the Park review by Will Carlson
These are fine if you want to stick to golf courses and gently rolling trails. If you are thinking of taking on steeper terrain however, steer clear. These just don’t have a lot of support in the bindings. The heel strap is nice with the padding, but the toe strap is harder to deal with and doesn’t seem to have the ability to form a snug fit with the boot. Again, for flat, beginner type terrain they are fine, but not so for challenging terrain, so pay attention to where you plan on snowshoeing. |
