This women's model features a woman specific tapered frame shape for ease of stride and maneuverability, custom fit women specific bindings and a forward pivot location to accommodate a woman's center of gravity.

The women's Tubbs Flex ESC snowshoes incorporate the same industry-leading, patented Tubbs Snowshoes innovations found on the more expensive Flex Series snow shoes. The Flex Tail enables a completely natural walking gait, as the snowshoe flexibly rolls underneath the foot and absorbs shock when the heel initially strikes the snow surface. The result is greatly reduced stress on hips, knees and ankles compared to other more traditional styles of snow shoes.

Other integrated features on the Tubbs Flex ESC woman's snowshoes, such as Rotating Toe Cord-Rotation Limiter, QuickFLEX Binding, Traction Rails and Torsion Deck technology, all contribute to easy to use bindings that provide all day comfort, excellent traction and grip on all snow surfaces, uphills & downhills, and a snowshoe deck that torsionally bends and conforms to uneven terrain for enhanced biomechanics, stability and control. • FLEX Tail: The ergonomically and biomechanically designed to absorb shock from heel strike, reducing the amount of stress on joints and allowing for snowshoeing farther, longer and with less stress to the body.
• Torsion Deck: Advanced design tht adapts to variable snow conditions underfoot. The snowshoe decking allows for torsional articulation throughout the body of the snowshoe, enhancing traction, biomechanics and comfort on uneven terrain.
• Traction Rails: Carbon steel toe crampon, ergonomically placed under foot, maximizes weighted traction and responsiveness while 3D curved Traction Rails ensure superior side-hill grip in hard or icy conditions. Progressive molded Snow Brakes, on the deck as well as the Soft Strike zone, improve weighted traction.
• QuickFLEX Bindings: Molded, asymmetric binding is gender specific with patented Control Wings to center the boot. A dual pull strap system secures fit while a cinch pull strap makes entry and exit easy. Heel strap pulls tight against boot’s rand, centering and securing the boot in position.
• Rotating Toe Cord - Rotation Limiter: Enables the tail of the snowshoe to drop and snow to shed off the tail, reducing cardio-respiratory strain by 7%.
