Seeking to push beyond the boundaries of the entry level comfort zone, but still looking for value? The 2010 Tubbs Frontier is the choice for you! With improved traction and a more supportive binding than the entry-level Tubbs Xplore, the Frontier provides the stability and control to confidently navigate uneven terrain. The Quick Step binding with Control Wing technology features the fast fit Dual pull system for easy adjustment and quick entry/exit. Carbon Steel crampon has both front and rear braking teeth for improved traction on the uphill, downhill, and sidehill in primarily packed snow conditions. Bottom Line: While still designed primarily for packed snow, these budget friendly snowshoes have enhanced crampons and more supportive bindings which allow the user to take on more challenging terrain.

Recommended Use: For recreational snowshoeing on primarily packed snow on rolling terrain or perhaps on a good sized hill or the lower climes of a small mountain. A great choice for folks who are still value focused but may decide to wander a bit further off the beaten path.
