Made by Tubbs Snowshoes, the all-new 2009 PowdeRidge Snowshoes Series are the ideal winter gear choice for adventuring outside for exercise, adventure and fun on snowshoes. Combining unrivalled value and features, the PowdeRidge snowshoes are built for years and years of long-lasting, maintenance-free use. Whether just taking your first steps with snowshoes or more experienced and looking to replace an older pair, the PowderRidge snow shoes offer great traction and stability even on variable terrain and include a very secure and easy to use binding system that is compatible with all sizes and styles of hiking boots, snow boots and other winter footwear. Rear traction strips ensure your heels stay in place even when encountering sidehills and sloped terrain. On the underside of the Powder Ridge snowshoes, Tubbs has included both toe and heel crampons for superb traction when climbing the uphills and descending the downhills. And of course Tubbs has included their proprietary fully rotating cord technology to maximize snowshoe penetration in even deep fluffy snow and greatly reducing fatigue because snow sheds fully off the tails of the snowshoes with every stride. Strong lightweight aluminum frame engineered for a natural walking stride. Very durable, abrasion resistant and maintenance-free snowshoe decking.
