 We LOVE Our Tubbs Timberline Snowshoes!

We purchased the Tubbs Timberline Snowshoes in both the mens 30 and womens 25 versions. Our main purpose for these snowshoes is for hiking through the woods with our dogs during the winter. One of our main concerns was the ease of use of the bindings. We didn't want to be fumbling with various straps out in the cold. These snowshoes are so easy to put on and take off, there isn’t time for our fingers to get cold. They are also very comfortable and supportive. We are very pleased with our choice in purchasing the Tubbs Timberlines! Also, thanks to ORS Snowshoes Direct for providing so much helpful information on the various snowshoes available! Not knowing anything about snowshoes prior to our purchase (other than testing a friend's older pairs) the website proved to be very helpful.

These snow shoes arrived a few weeks ago, and I used them the very next day. Wow is definitely the first thing that comes to mind. The bindings on the Tubbs Timberline are so easy to use and it's amazing how comfortable my feet feel all day long. I was turned on mainly by the discounted price (thanks ORS Snowshoes Direct!), but also by the fully rotating toe cord that is standard on all Tubbs Snowshoes. I've been using Tubbs for a long time and love the way the snowshoe just drops down in the tail when taking a step. The snow falls right off the back and really does help to eliminate fatigue, which is very important when tackling challenging hills. I believe snowshoeing is most rewarding when climbing up to the top of any hill in the winter and enjoying the amazing views the woods offer when no leaves are on the trees. The Tubbs Timberline snow shoes will get you there, trust me!

First of all, I'm a sucker for anything limited edition from a respected brand, and when I saw the Tubbs Timberline at this great discount price I just had to have them. I'm very pleased to say the description that ORS Snowshoes Direct has for the Timberline is right on the money too. I'm your typical all-around recreational snowshoer that, depending on the day and the mood I'm in, might just want to snowshoe around the local park and see some of the urban wildlife that's still hanging around in winter here in Minneapolis. However, I also like to hook up with friends and test myself on new terrain and trails I've never done before. The Tubbs Timberline snowshoes work great on packed snow and deep stuff too. I love the bindings, they are so easy to get your boot in. Very comfortable too. Highly recommend to others. |
