 Shoeing Through the Winter!
this Tubbs Venture snowshoes review by Dave W.
Bought the family a set of snowshoes from ORS Snowshoes Direct. They were very helpful with model selection and sizes. Their pricing beat my local stores. We've really enjoyed the snowshoeing in the Hopkinton State forest. Rolling terrain with many trails to blaze. Visiting the Duck Pond is a good walk. Tubbs shoes have been durable as well as easy to get in and out of. The binding side support makes them feel as part of my boot. VERY HAPPY!!!

I am new to snowshoeing. These snowshoes are easy to use and frustration-free! I love them. Have had lots of snow this winter and getting plenty of use out of the snowshoes. Very pleased!
The Perfect Snow Shoe for Trails and Deep Snow
this Tubbs Venture snowshoes review by Steve from Ogden
I thoroughly enjoyed this product. I took these shoes to the Ashley National Forest in Utah and hiked 3 miles through 40" of fresh powder. They did great! I have never been snowshoeing before, but am now hooked on the idea of many more adventures.

I have been looking for a while for a great snowshoe and have been shopping around for myself and my boyfriend. ORS Snowshoes Direct had the best prices and was running a special for free shipping!! The Tubbs Venture snow shoes are great for trail walking and the price was excellent. I am very pleased and ready to hit the trails!
 Very Pleased How They Work
this men's & women's Tubbs Venture review by the McAndrews
I just recently purchased two pairs of the Tubbs Venture snowshoes for myself and my husband. He got the Venture 30s and I got the Women’s Venture 25s. We are both very pleased with how well they work, and have been getting out quite often. We were looking for recreational snowshoes to use on our land, which is mostly flat. For that purpose they work great. I must say that I have a little trouble with the heel strap. In order to engage it, you need to overstretch it and get one of the holes to land in a small metal tab. I find this a bit difficult and awkward. My husband however has no such issue. Other than that, they are very nice snowshoes.
 Works Great for Me
this Tubbs Venture review by Steve in N.H.
A very simple snowshoe, but one that is suitable for me. I just like to get exercise and usually just wander through the golf course or the corn field. I’m not hiking Mount Everest or anything, so the shoes work great for me. For folks like me who are looking to take it easy, I would recommend the Ventures.
 Should've Got a Bigger Size
this women's Tubbs Venture review by Jen
I was invited to go on an overnight trip to a cabin that required a three mile snowshoe trek to get in. I didn’t own a pair of snowshoes at the time, so I decided to purchase a pair of my own. Not wanting to break the bank, I chose the Tubbs Venture for Women. I weigh about 120 lbs, so I chose the 21”, which was the correct size according to my weight. I hadn’t accounted for the weight of my clothes and the pack that I would be carrying however, and I feel that with that added on, I overweighed the snowshoes. In deep snow I was sinking to my knees. The snowshoes worked ok, but on traverses, I felt that the bindings weren’t sufficient enough to allow me to walk with the most control. It almost felt like my foot was slipping off the top of the snowshoe. On top of that, the snowshoe itself was slipping. It’s a good thing I had poles. Having known what I know now, I would have purchased a bigger size and a better model, one with a stiffer, more supportive binding and better traction. |
